New motherhood can be lonely. Sometimes it can be really hard and, when you don’t feel like you have anyone else to talk to, it can be isolating. Getting so caught up in the daily needs of everyone else, you may feel as though you are losing a piece of yourself to your new role. It doesn’t have to be this way.
We want you to feel heard, supported, and validated. Having real, live mother-to-mother connections is such an important piece of building your own support network. Come as you are, speak from the heart, take the advice you want, and leave the rest. This group is about non-judgmental support.
Is having a new baby different than what you thought it would be? This group is a safe welcoming place for all women who are transitioning into life with a new little.
No affiliation with Northeast Iowa Doulas is necessary to attend. We happily welcome everyone who is in need of support during this time in their lives.
